Why should you see a chiropractor?

Written by rebeccah

Are you considering visiting a chiropractor but not entirely sure what they can help with?

Chiropractors are specialists who target a variety of concerns relating to your muscles, bones and joins. Chiropractic care can provide relief for back pain, correct misalignments of the spine or be used as part of your ongoing preventative healthcare.

Chiropractors can work in collaboration with other allied health services such as massage therapists, naturopaths, physiotherapists and your regular GP to treat injuries, relieve pain and prevent injuries from occurring.

  • Initial consult and assessment to discuss your areas of concern and your past medical history (including reviewing any relevant scans).
  • A physical examination of the area of concern.
  • Creating a treatment plan specific your our needs and goals.
  • Gentle adjustments and manipulation of your bones, muscles and joints using a variety of techniques to reduce pressure and allow the body to communicate effectively and promote innate healing.
  • Back or neck pain
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Sciatica
  • Overuse injuries
  • Slipped discs
  • Injuries from accidents (such as whiplash)
  • Strains and sprains
  • Pinched nerves
  • Sports injuries
  • Arthritis
  • Chronic pain
